Breakfast

Morning
After breakfast, transfer to the pier and ferry to Wuzhizhou Island—a butterfly-shaped oasis (1.48 km²) with crystalline waters (visibility: 6-27m). Nestled 2.7km offshore, it faces Nanwan Monkey Island northward and neighbors Yalong Bay ("World's Top Bay") to the south. Its vibrant marine ecosystem thrives with sea cucumbers, lobsters, parrotfish, and tropical fish, while southern reefs preserve pristine coral—making it China’s premier diving site.

Island Highlights:

  • Sunrise Rock (观日岩): Climb the southeastern cliffs for panoramic views of the island and South China Sea—ideal for dawn vistas.

  • Seaview Boardwalk (观海长廊): Spot crabs on reefs and schools of tropical fish in turquoise shallows.

  • Electric Cart Tour: Circle the island effortlessly.

Thrilling Add-ons (Self-funded):

  • Helicopter tours

  • Wind Tunnel Experience (indoor skydiving)

  • Watersports: Jet skiing, parasailing, banana boats, kayaking, coral reef diving.

Dining:
Flamingo Restaurant or Night Seafood Market serving:

  • Coconut chicken hotpot

  • Freshly caught seafood BBQ

  • Tropical fruit platters

Afternoon: Houhai Village
A peninsula embraced by Houhai Bay (north), Empress Bay (south), and Haitang Bay (east). Retaining its fishing village charm, you can:

  • Join locals foraging at low tide

  • Buy fresh catches for grill-your-own dinners

  • Surf at Empress Bay—renowned as China's surfing village with year-round waves (best Oct-Apr).

  • Unwind at bonfire-lit beach parties with live music.

Local Bites:
Grilled scallops, pepper-salt crab, bamboo rice, Qingbuliang (coconut milk dessert), claypot chicken congee.

Evening

4-Stars Hotel

Breakfast

Morning: Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone
After breakfast, visit the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone to witness the 108-meter-tall Guanyin Statue—world’s tallest sea-standing Buddhist icon. Its triple-faced design symbolizes:

  • West Face: Holds prayer beads (compassion)
As the Bodhisattva vowed to "dwell eternally in the South Sea," this is revered as the Guanyin of the South China Sea.

Afternoon: Dadonghai & Xiaodonghai (大小洞天)
Explore China’s southernmost Taoist cultural site (est. 1187), famed as "Hainan’s premier landscape". Highlights:

  • Experiences: Send postcards with special postmarks at Love Post Office; capture wedding photos.

Late Afternoon: Coconut Dream Corridor (椰梦长廊)
Stroll this 20-km coastal avenue at sunset—Sanya’s most romantic free attraction.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
